1Our approach

How we think about support

Good support starts with understanding the person behind the support needs. Every individual has different preferences, routines, abilities and goals, so our support is designed around the person rather than a fixed routine.

Independence does not mean managing alone. It means having choice, control and reliable support to live in the way that matters most to you. Your support plan is reviewed with you and adjusted as your circumstances change.

Whether we are supporting someone in our six-person mental health supported living home in Slough, or in their own home, we work with you and, with your agreement, with family, advocates, GPs, community teams and other professionals involved in your care.

Informed choices

We explain options clearly, respect your preferences and encourage independence.

Working together

With your consent, we communicate with others involved in your support so it is joined up and consistent.
